blogs are fun

everyone should do a blog - it’s an interesting way to keep in touch with people you don’t see that often.. although in a scary semi-voyueristic way because you’re kind of reading about them without them knowing, but then why else do people post blog entries?

actually i blog mostly for my own benefit, it helps me process stuff that’s happened before i totally forget what happened, which is a common problem for me.. so yes, my blogs aren’t really entirely inteded for general consumption - you have been warned..

but then again they’re publicly available anyway, and might contain some useful slash interesting tidbits, and friends’ blogs are a great way to procrastinate when you have an important assignment due in 2 hours.. just something new to read about someone you know - you feel like you’re keeping in touch without really doing any keeping-in-touching..

so i hope someone finds the stuff here interesting or at least a good time waster - everyone should blog!

a bit about this blogger

that sounds kind of dodgy, calling myself a blogger..

but yes, this blogger was given the name danny by none other than his preschool teacher in taiwan, and is called bamy/bam/dan/etc (no, not literally etc) by his friends.. and obviously is male considering the use of the ‘his’ pronoun.. he’s a christian and goes to the university of sydney and does science, a real degree.. he also finds talking about himself in the third person to be slightly offputting and disturbing..

family consists of a sister, mum & dad, and a chocolate brown lunatic (i mean labrador) named jaz whose hobbies include chewing the washing, chewing fences and bamboo, chewing outdoor furniture, chewing her tail, chewing plastic buckets, chewing pot plants and their pots - you get the idea..

what else.. erm, i like.. stuff.. anything that has electricity of some sort running through it, so i guess that includes humans as well.. my status is ‘unavailable’.. i like plants.. i’m boring as you can no doubt derive from these pages..
